Cladding Mesh - narrow width rolls of Insect Mesh

These narrow mesh rolls are ideal for use with timber and other ventilated rainscreen cladding systems, where an insect screen or mesh is specified to stop insects entering the air space behind the cladding. We use our standard mesh, made of woven fibreglass yarn, coated in PVC. It is non-combustible, will not rust, discolour or stain, is durable and easy to work with.

All rolls are 45 metres long and available in either grey or black.

These narrow mesh rolls are ideal to use with timber and other ventilated rainscreen cladding systems, where a Stainlee Steel insect screen or mesh is specified to stop insects entering the air space behind the cladding. The mesh is woven from type 304 stainless steel, it is 16x16 gauge with 16 threads in each direction per square inch. It is non-combustible and will not rust, discolour or stain.

All rolls are 30 metres long.

This is the standard mesh we use for most of our flyscreens. Made of woven fibreglass yarn, coated in PVC, it is non-combustible and will not rust, discolour or stain. The mesh is durable, easy to work with and clean. It is 18 x 16 gauge, consisting of 18 threads in one direction and 16 in the other per square inch. It keeps out all common flying insects. We also have a finer grade mesh availble - see below.

Available in either grey - width 1200mm or 1800mm, or black - width 1200mm only.

This is a finer version of our standard mesh - see above. Made of woven fibreglass yarn, coated in PVC, it is non-combustible and will not rust, discolour or stain. The mesh is durable, easy to work with and clean. It is 20 x 30 gauge, consisting of 20 threads in one direction and 30 in the other per square inch. It keeps out all flying insects, including the infamous scottish midges.

Available in grey - width 1200mm or 1800mm.

This Commercial mesh is thicker, heavier and stronger than our standard mesh. Made of woven polyester yarn, coated in PVC, it is non-combustible and will not rust, discolour or stain. The mesh is durable, easy to work with and clean. It is 17 x 12 gauge, consisting of 17 threads in one direction and 12 in the other per square inch. It keeps out all common flying insects and will stand up well to constant use in a commercial or industrial environment.

Available in either grey or black - width 1200mm.

Our Aluminium mesh is made from woven Aluminium wire, with a black electro-deposition coating. It is 18 x 16 gauge, consisting of 18 threads in one direction and 16 in the other per square inch. It keeps out all common flying insects and is ideal where a metal insect mesh has been specified.

Available in black - width 1200mm only.

Our Stainless Steel mesh is made from woven Stainless Steel wire. It is 16 x 16 gauge, consisting of 16 threads in each direction per square inch. It keeps out all common flying insects and is ideal where a metal insect mesh has been specified. We use Stainless Steel type 304 as standard; type 316 is also available by special order.

Roll width is 1200mm.

Window Mesh Kit

Window Mesh Kit

This Kit allows you to make a simple, economical fly screen for your windows. The Kit consists of a roll of mesh 1m x 2m and 1 metre of self adhesive hook and loop, sufficient to screen 2 windows - depending on their size. We use our standard grey insect mesh, made of woven fibreglass yarn, coated in PVC, it is non-combustible and will not rust, discolour or stain. The mesh is durable, easy to work with and clean.
